NASA seeks applicants to lead education efforts

NASA has posted a job announcement for the position of associate administrator for education. The agency seeks a leader with an extensive education background to help lead NASA education efforts into the future. The posting can be found here. The position will remain open until June 4.

Jim Stofan, who has been deputy associate administrator for education, is holding the position on an acting basis while the search proceeds. He succeeds Joyce Winterton, who will move to the Suborbital and Special Orbital Projects Directorate as a senior advisor developing student flight programs and other education initiatives.
