Informal science education supports people of all ages and walks of life in exploring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The journal Cultural Studies of Science Education is planning an issue about Digital Games and Learning in Science: A Sociocultural Perspective, projected for 2012. Issue editor Catherine Milne of New York University is seeking articles. Titles and abstracts are due by August 1 and final manuscripts will be due in January 2011. The journal sends articles to reviewers who write responses and raise additional issues, and Dr. Milne is also interested in hearing from those interested in serving as reviewers.
Articles can address "a range of issues associated with digital games and simulations and learning science." Examples suggested by the editor include
