What is informal science education?
Informal science education supports people of all ages and walks of life in exploring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The Center for the Advancement of Informal Science Education’s (CAISE) Entree Initiative will be spreading the word about informal science education (ISE) and CAISE at the annual convention of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP), July 30 – August 3, in Baltimore. Highlighted will be a number of successful collaborations between researchers and ISE organizations. Entree will provide ASP scientists with connections to information about how they can use ISE as a mechanism for successfully engaging the public with science.
