National Science Foundation Seeks Program Director Candidates

Become a part of our mission to maintain and strengthen the vitality of the US science and engineering enterprise.  For over 50 years, the National Science Foundation (NSF) has remained the premier Federal agency supporting basic research at the frontiers of discovery across all fields, as well as science and engineering education at all levels.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is seeking candidates with expertise in research on STEM learning and education for one or more permanent Program Director positions within the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR), Arlington, VA.

The mission of EHR is to achieve excellence in U.S. science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education at all levels and in all settings (both formal and informal) in order to support the development of a diverse and well-prepared workforce of scientists, technicians, engineers, mathematicians and educators and a well-informed citizenry that have access to the ideas and tools of science and engineering. The purpose of these activities is to enhance the quality of life of all citizens and the health, prosperity, welfare and security of the nation.
