The American Museum of Natural History Launches Pilot Program
The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH), with funding from the New York State Department of Education and the National Science Foundation, have launched a pilot program for a Masters of Arts in Teaching. The 15-month program leverages the museum's scientific resources and history of leadership in teacher education and professional development to address the critical shortage of qualified science teachers in New York State, particularly in high-needs schools with diverse populations. Marcos, The sense of dsoicvery you are expressing in your posting is just what we hope everyone, or virtually everyone, who walks through museum doors will find: noticing, doing, possibilities, joy, more possibilities, something to take away. Thanks!
