Register here for the 2012 NSF ISE Program PI Meeting. The meeting will take place March 14-16 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., and will provide ample opportunities for professional networking, connecting with NSF Program Officers, learning about updates on the ISE Program, and engaging in strategic conversations about emerging themes and issues from workshops and convenings of Principal Investigatorsleading up to the meeting.
The meeting begins at 2 p.m. on March 14, with Grant Management and Technical Assistance sessions. Attendees will be able to pick up their registration information and poster room assignment beginning at 12 p.m. There will also be an evening reception on March 14. The meeting will end by approximately 4 p.m. on March 16.
Meeting attendance is limited to one person, per project. Principal Investigators are strongly encouraged to attend although a Co-PI or project staff member can attend in their place. If the space becomes available, others — including project evaluators and researchers — may also be able to participate. Please email support@caise.insci.org to designate a Co-PI or project staff member to attend in place of a PI, or to be added to the waiting list.
Register before February 10 to receive the early-bird registration rate, and before March 1 to attend the meeting. Because of space limitations, onsite registrations will not be possible. After registering, be sure to contact the Omni Shoreham Hotel before February 17 to receive a discount on lodging. Call 1-800-843-6664 (ask for the Center for Advancement of Informal Science Education group rate) to make your reservation or book online.
To facilitate networking during the registration process you will be prompted to provide the most up-to-date information about your project to include in our online Attendees List. We’ve also provided additional opportunities to connect, discuss themes, receive updates, and share what you would like to see at the meeting on our CAISE/NSF ISE PI Meeting LinkedIn Group. As an NSF ISE PI you will have access to this private group.
