Additional NSF funding for Climate Change Education

The Education and Human Resources Directorate (EHR) is adding funding to support Climate Change Education (CCE). The EHR is seeking projects that focus on the “development of the climate science professional workforce, public understanding and engagement on climate change issues, and informed decision-making associated with adaptation to and mitigation of climate change impacts.”

This is not a new program. If you previously submitted a content-appropriate proposal to EHR in FY09, read this notification (NSF 09-058) carefully to determine your project’s eligibility under these CCE guidelines.

Act quickly; the deadline is July 24, 2009.

I am looking for funding to distribute over 20 000 copies of my book The Fire Dogs of Climate Change -An inspirational call to action to youth education organisations internationally who have requested copies. Do you have advice on potential funders? Much thanks, Sally
