The National Science Foundation (NSF)is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director, Division for Research on Learning in Formal and Informal Settings (DRL), Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR). DRL includes the Informal Science Education program.

The Division Director provides leadership, direction, and management to the EHR Division responsible for promoting innovative research, development, and evaluation of learning and teaching across all STEM disciplines in both formal and informal settings for learning. The Division promotes the broadening and deepening of capacity and impact in the educational sciences by encouraging the participation of scientists, engineers, and educators from the range of disciplines represented at NSF, and by being a catalyst for change, advancing theory, method, measurement, development, and application to improve STEM learning. The Division's programs offer a set of complementary approaches for research, development, and field-based improvement to further STEM learning.
