Informal science education supports people of all ages and walks of life in exploring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
A public forum about digital media and learning will be webcast live from Philadelphia on November 18. Organized by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation in collaboration with the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation and the National Writing Project, the forum includes presentations about research and experiences using digital media in and outside of the classroom by:
Renee Hobbs, Founder, Media Education Lab, Temple University
Nichole Pinkard, Founder, Digital Youth Network and DePaul University professor
Elyse Eldman-Aadahl, Director, National Programs and Site Development, National Writing Project
Connie Yowell, Director of Education at the MacArthur Foundation, will moderate the discussion.
