Resources for STEM Education, a prototype website for sharing NSF-funded educational resources and findings, has opened. The site is intended to support the U.S. Department of Education's "Race to the Top" program. It contains an initial sampling of resources and findings from NSF-funded projects in four areas:
Joni Falk of MSP net, which created the site, reports that it "represents a first step towards a more comprehensive and sophisticated future site." Feedback is invited. Developers are interested in knowing about what types of resources are helpful, any resources on the site that were helpful and why, and suggestions for new content types and functionalities that would make the site a more powerful tool.
