Arden Bement steps down as NSF director
Arden L. Bement, director of the National Science Foundation, has been named to lead Purdue University's new Global Policy Research Institute (GPRI) in West Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Bement will begin his new post on June 1 this year. He was appointed to his six-year term as NSF director by President George W. Bush in November 2004. Details are available on the NSF website.
