Madagascar!

Saving Madagascar Through Applied Science

March 02, 2010 by Sarah Hezel

The Bronx Zoo’s Madagascar! exhibit invites visitors to explore Madagascar’s spectacular plants and animals through naturalistic habitats and rich content, media, and interactive elements.

Our summative evaluation indicates that there is a statistically significant shift in knowledge and care for Madagascar after visiting the exhibit, informing us that we have achieved our exhibit learning goals. Following a visit, visitors are more aware of the role that science plays in protecting animals and are aware that they have practiced science skills in the exhibit.
