Dinosaurs Alive is a 40-minute giant screen documentary, merging modern-day paleontology with highly detailed, scientifically accurate renderings. The film follows renowned paleontologists to sites in Mongolia’s Gobi Desert and Ghost Ranch, New Mexico, and features scenes of the field crew collecting Tawa hallae, a newly discovered carnivorous dinosaur. Nominated for the 2007 GSCA Award for Lifelong Learning, Dinosaurs Alive instills a passion for exploration, promotes a curiosity about science and paleontology, and, most importantly, encourages kids to become dinosaur hunters.
