Augmenting Museum Exhibits

Water's Journey Through the Everglades

Water’s Journey through the Everglades is an exhibit project designed to increase the impact of science center exhibits using mixed reality to allow visitors to explore “What if?” scenarios. Learning is accomplished through interactive mixed reality experiences, competitive games, and visual displays that promote social interaction both within family groups and among discrete groups of visitors. Family prototype testing in February, 2010 provided clarity on the overall experience and content message.
