Cielo y Tierra Noticias del Mundo is a radio and digital science news and information service, addressing both the paucity of science news and information in U.S. Spanish media and the small percentage of Hispanics who choose science as a career. The project is an integrated media product featuring radio and web. Now in its third year, EarthSky en Español is heard, seen, and accessed 2 million times a day through both traditional broadcast and new media outlets.
