SMILE: An Online Resource for Science and Math Informal Educators

Howtosmile.org is an online tool that allows educators to easily locate high-quality informal learning activities across multiple disciplines and contributing institutions.

SMILE (Science and Math Informal Learning Educators) is a national partnership among science and technology centers, museums, community-based organizations, and out-of-school educators. Founding partners include the Lawrence Hall of Science at U.C. Berkeley, the Exploratorium, the Science Museum of Minnesota, the Children’s Museum of Houston, New York Hall of Science, and ASTC. New partners join to use SMILE’s digital infrastructure to disseminate their learning activities to educators working with children from diverse backgrounds in different settings.
