The STEPS project has been focused on injecting a large dose of imagination and drama into science education through the use of digital theater. We are now seeing the results of this effort via the professional development of those involved in its creation. These impacts are described in a new paper at Museums on the Web 2010, including increased capacity for integrating technology with traditional approaches, increased knowledge of theatre for science education, increased proficiency working within a virtual community of practice, and an enhanced sense of professional identity through a team leadership model.
