Ocena on the Edge taught us that the public is interested in timely issues and in the big, complex, controversial issues they read about in the newspapers and hear about on TV and radio. They want more information delivered in engaging, educational, entertaining, and empowering ways without pedantic information overload. ISE institutions need to spark their visitors’ interest by being courageous enough to tackle these issues in a timely way. Integrating science with art, design, and literature increases the likelihood that messages will be received, processed, and retained.
