Project Butterfly WINGS: Winning Investigative Network for Great Science

March 01, 2010 by Betty Dunckel

Project Butterfly WINGS: Winning Investigative Network for Great Science is a new Reviewed and Recommended National 4-H Curriculum (Product Number 08393). Designed for ages 9-13 years and developed by the University of Florida’s Florida Museum of Natural History and Florida Cooperative Extension Service, WINGS fosters science interest, understanding, and long-term involvement, and promotes positive youth development. WINGS engages participants in guided and youth-initiated inquiry and participants contribute data about butterflies that over time will help answer questions about whether common species are still common.
