Access Algebra

The Design Zone project includes a large traveling exhibit and a professional development program for museum interpretive staff. The exhibit focuses on algebra as a tool to create and invent—everything from racing bikes to hip-hop. Overheard at exhibit prototypes sneak preview: “I like this algebraic catapult.” “It’s cool it’s with music. That’s speaking your language.” “You need algebra to be a video game designer? I didn’t know that. Uh-oh, I better take it next year.”
