Understanding Genetics

Stanford at the Tech

Started in 2004, Stanford at the Tech Museum program has done some really great science with kids. One of the best things to come out of the program is scientists who are trained in how to communicate science to the public. The hope is that there will be a Johnny Appleseed Effect, these scientists will go on to do outreach and teach their students to do outreach. Another good thing to come out of the program is the website. We are a reliable source of genetics information that over one million unique visitors come to each year.
